Dallas Fort Worth Modern Babies and Children did a photo shoot at Going Bonkers this morning. Entry was free to the facebook fans that showed up. Some of the pictures may possibly be used in their advertisements.
Now this was my third trip to Going Bonkers and it really just gets better every time I go. Going Bonkers has a huge play area which pretty much takes up an entire half of the building, and the building is not small by any means. The first time I went my middle son was just two years old, and couldn't quite climb up, but they had an awesome toddlers area that he was able to do just fine.
Since that visit, and since he's gotten older and a little taller, he's learned to be able to climb up everywhere. And again, its big.
My five year old son even loves it. He actually stayed away from the arcade until I told him we were going up to the top part to visit the games.
Now this place is great for parents too, in several ways. Up near the game room there is a parents retreat, and they have WIFI as well. Need to work? They have you covered.
Or, want your own work out because you missed the gym? Get up there with your kids and climb all around, it will be a work out too.
Parents also don't have to worry about the kids getting out the door without you, there's a kid check just like your other favorite kid places have these days.
And don't forget about lunch, they have you covered with their snack bar. They have drinks, snacks (of course) and lunch menu items like nearly every kids favorite, Pizza!
Over all, Going Bonkers has a great amount of fun for everyone in the family. Especially everyone in my family.
So next time you're looking for something fun to do with your kids, check them out!
Whoever said having four kids, was the same as having three, did not have my four kids! 3 boys and 1 little princess is tough, but I like to think I'm tougher, with a some crazy moments of course!

My first product review
So as I've talked about before, I attend the Metro Mom's events which are just super awesome as they come up with the latest and greatest Mom products out there. Well after hunting through the newest items on the best and hottest products event. I came across The Wean Machine.
Well, since I have become mom of three, I've decided to take my crazy mom status a step further, and make my own baby food this time around. This was something I had never done before.
At exactly 4 months old, I took Logan in for his fourth month checkup. He had been nursing nearly around the clock even still. So his pediatrician said, start a little solids. I of course, despite being mom of three boys not just one, asked again "How much do I give him?". Her reply " Two tablespoons once or maybe twice a day right now?"
So on my way home, I picked up some yummy fruits, pulled up the baby food making website, and went to work making some baby food. He got his first food of bananas because it was the fastest to make.
Now would you know, my son was not satisfied with just two table spoons of baby food. Oh no no no, when I started feeding him, and then stopped, he was ANGRY at me.
And on we went with more baby food, yet, he was still nursing like crazy after.
So one day we try commercial food for him as we were getting close to our trip to visit family, it was organic of course, and he hated it. So that ended the attempt at commercial made food, and it was still at, homemade food. But what would happen if I was eating out, and didn't have any food ready to grab before I needed to leave, as this did happen so many times already.
So that's when I came across The Wean Machine through the metromoms site, and while reading about it said to myself I could use this on our trip while we always go out to dinner quite often with my family.
That's exactly what I did.
It was great to use. I bought veggies, and had my steam bags (makes an easy way to make the baby food quick if you need to) for the hotel in Orlando. And steamed them up stuck them in the wean machine and mashed, and done. It was so much easier than making a mess with the hotel blender, plus when you're out you can stick this little machine in the diaper bag and you're ready to go out to eat and usually you can find something to mash up in it. And their site, gives you a list of good foods that work well with it. You can't get any better than that.
To view more information on The Wean Machine, visit their site. Or even to check out where they are sold and purchase one.

And then we had three
Do over?
Summer will be coming to an end. All summer i have had all three boys, and then suddenly, August 24th it will be one little boy everyday. My two oldest boys will be off to school, one to Kindergarten the other to preschool half a day.
I am amazed at how quick my boys are growing up. My oldest has been quick all along, but my sweet middle son, has always been a baby to me up until just over a month ago when he finally (and yes after I begged and pleaded for him to actually do it) potty trained. He's been doing better than my oldest who gets to lazy. So when I asked the school if he HAD to be potty trained before school started, they said they would like it, but its not mandatory as they will try and help them with it. Well, he's got it down. It's taken a load off my washer none the less. I cloth diaper, so they do use one at night, (all three actually).
It really is a bittersweet thing.
I still hold on to the tiny bit of hope that one day I'll ever have pink to add to my family of five for a family of six. Even though I know it really won't happen even if I changed my mind.
So for now, it's only blue in my house. Well unless you count Miko but then you would have to count Jax. And well, I already feel outnumbered as it is.
